About Pam & The Studio

I grew up in Carbondale. My parents taught at CRMS in the very early days and I attended Carbondale Elementary School- which at the time was in the Third Street Center (where my studio is now)!
When I was five my mom gave me an art table, and I'd rush home from school every day, eager to see what I would create next. That art table led me down the path of getting my master’s degree in Art Education, becoming a certified creativity coach and SoulCollage® facilitator, running a children’s studio in Boulder, and writing and illustrating children’s books. I moved back to Carbondale in 2013 and live here with my husband and our two dogs.
I have a strong background in many art forms but printmaking has always been my favorite. My father taught me how to make linoleum block prints (a.k.a. Linocuts) when I was seven years old and I fell in love with this fun process. I studied printmaking at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Maine, Anderson Ranch in Snowmass and other wonderful art schools for adults.

I've created a wonderful space for my students in my own studio at the Third Street Center in Carbondale. Students will love having their own organized work spaces, good tools and materials, two small printing presses, a great art sink and being part of a fun community. You can read rave reviews from my students and families here.
I look forward to seeing you in the studio soon!
