About Pam Porter
I’m an artist, teacher, and life coach based in Carbondale, Colorado. I grew up here and first fell in love with printmaking when my dad taught me how to make linoleum block prints when I was seven. Since returning to Carbondale in 2013, I’ve taught art to all ages. Now my focus is on adult workshops that spark creativity through different forms of printmaking.
Pam's Teaching Focus
I teach Clay Printing, Gelli-Block Printing, and Creative Compass Card Workshops—each exploring color and creative expression. Clay Printing is colorful, Gelli-Block Printing—my blend of Gelli Prints with linoleum blocks—is bold and beautiful, and Creative Compass Cards combine printmaking and collage into inspirational personal decks. 
Creative Flow Workshops
I offer workshops in Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley, and other parts of the west. These range from single-day classes to immersive retreats, featuring my signature Gelli-Block Printing, Creative Compass Cards, and occasional Clay Printing. Guided by my Creative Flow philosophy—process over perfection, joy over judgment—each workshop invites curiosity, play, and self-expression.
