About Pam Porter
I’m an artist, teacher, and life coach based in Carbondale, Colorado. I grew up here and first fell in love with printmaking when my dad taught me how to make linoleum block prints when I was seven. Since returning to Carbondale in 2013, I’ve taught art to all ages. Now my focus is on adult workshops that spark creativity through different forms of printmaking.
Pam's Teaching Focus
I teach Gelli-Block Printing and Clay Printing workshops centered on color, texture, and creative expression. Gelli-Block Printing —my signature blend of Gelli prints and linoleum block imagery—is vibrant and layered. Clay Printing transforms textured ceramic slabs into richly colored, expressive monoprints. Both processes invite playful experimentation.
Creative Flow Workshops
I offer workshops in Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley and other parts of the West. These range from single-day classes to longer retreats, featuring my signature Gelli-Block Printing and Clay Printing (printing with colored clay). Guided by my philosophy—process over perfection, joy over judgment—workshops invite curiosity, play, and self-expression. My goal is to create a welcoming space where artists relax and thrive.
