Magical summer camps for kids entering grades 1-6.
This summer, Pam will be busier with travel, teaching adult workshops, and focusing on her own art. As a result, she's offering a shorter, more exclusive schedule of mermaid camps—each lasting 3 days, from 10 am to 2 pm. These camps are designed to pack all the creativity, fun, and mermaid magic your kids love into a focused, exciting experience. With limited spots available, this is the perfect chance to explore a world of art, imagination, and watery adventure!

Get ready to dive into the wonders of the mermaids who live in our local rivers! These delightful camps include two studio days and one fun pool day. In the studio campers will design their own Mermaid Tackle Boxes, decorating the outside with nature-inspired designs. Inside, they’ll create enchanting river dioramas filled with miniature mermaids, rainbow trout, wooden peg otters and beavers, cozy beaver lodges, painted river rocks, and other fun elements. Kids will also have their own watercolor journals. These camps offer a creative and memorable experience your children will treasure. Space is limited to 5 kids per camp
Camps are small, so secure your spot early! Registration opens January 15, with all sign-ups due by May 1. (Sign up by March 1 for an early bird discount.) This final deadline ensures everything is set in advance so Pam has time to prepare. If both camps fill by April 1, a third camp will be added. Non-RVR residents attend as Pam’s guests. Pool day is typically Wednesday but may be adjusted for weather. If bad weather persists, we’ll host a special mermaid party day with mermaid-themed treats!

Payment & Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your child's spot in the camp. If you need to cancel more than two weeks before the camp begins, $50 of the payment will be retained as a non-refundable deposit, and the remainder will be refunded. Cancellations made less than two weeks before the camp start date are non-refundable. Pam understands that plans can change, and this policy helps us cover supplies and preparation costs to ensure the best experience for all participants. Thank you for your understanding!
AN IMPORTANT NOTE TO PARENTS ABOUT THE POOL:
Mermaid Camps are for kids who are comfortable in the water and have had some swimming instruction. RVR has a lifeguard and Pam will also be supervising BUT she will not be able to focus on just one child.
